Everyone says I should write and tell you how great your shoes are.
I am 66 this year. I have two pair of your shoes. My first pair were bought three or four years ago in New York, and the second pair two years ago in Las Vegas. When my daughter bought them for me, I was skeptical and wanted to pay for them myself, but she wouldn¡¯t hear of it.
When I put them on I was a little wobbly, but it didn¡¯t last long. I wore them home to Long Island, and have worn no other shoe since. In fact, I went in my bedroom one year later or less and threw all my sneakers and shoes out except for slippers I wear at night. I only wear Z-CoiL¢ç shoes because I am able to walk.
I have four herniated discs in my neck. I was repaired surgically with a cervical lamenectomy in 1991. My spine is riddled with osteoarthritis, arthritic spurs, herniated discs, and fractures, plus I¡¯m diabetic and suffer from neuropathy. I have a wheelchair as well as a motorized wheelchair, and I no longer use them.
I am able to walk to Costco, Wal-Mart, the Mall, and grocery shop. Oh, I do get some pain, but not anything like I suffer without your shoes. I cannot say enough praise about Z-CoiL¢ç footwear. Please keep making them and I will keep singing their praises to anyone who asks about them. Thank you for giving me my life back.

I wanted to send you this e-mail to let you know what a great product you have. I purchased the Freedom 2000 (running shoe) about 18 weeks ago. I really wanted to run a marathon again. I am now 46 years old, and it has been 23 years since I had run one. I have run two marathons in my life, but that was when I was younger, in my 20's.
My previous ankle injuries playing football in college and additional severe ankle injuries running in my late 20's led to calcium deposits in the ankles. In 1989 I went through six months of intense and painful physical therapy to my right calf muscle. The Achilles tendon had been damaged severely, due to my continuing to run on an injured calf. I gave up running more than 12 miles in a week due to a weak calf muscle that would get injured. I was ready to give up running entirely.
In the past two to three years, I have tried to stay in shape and gain some distance with my running. I had seen an orthopedic surgeon one year ago. He showed me my x-rays and diagnosed arthritis in my ankles, along with many major calcium deposits. He said I should give up running long-distance, but then he said if I really wanted to run again, to try Z-CoiL¢ç footwear. It took me nine months to finally buy a pair at Smiley Feet in La Mesa, CA. Before purchasing the Freedom 2000s, I could not run more than two miles without stopping and I could not run on consecutive days without re-injuring my calf muscle. Your Z-CoiL¢ç shoes gave me new life. It allowed me a chance to get the ¡°gait¡± that I used to have. The shoes absorb so much shock that they allow me to run whenever I want. I want to tell everyone in their 40's up or anyone with a leg injury that this shoe can change their lives. I am now running 25 to 30 miles per week and can travel a full 9-mile run with hills without stopping.
I believe this shoe would be a great training shoe for anyone running a lot. It reduces the chance of injury. It's like letting your body only absorb one half as much impact as any other high-priced running shoe. The Z-CoiL¢ç shoes just absorb the impact so well. Before buying the Freedom 2000s, I thought I would never run another marathon. I now know that I will run the Rock-N-Roll marathon in San Diego on June 5, 2005. With any other shoe, I would not have been able to do this.
I have a large pile of running shoes (not Z-CoiL¢ç brand) in my closet and garage.
I have recently gone running in some regular, top-of-the-line running shoes and really felt great . . . much younger. I was faster in regular running shoes, but it was the Freedom 2000 that got me to that point. In regular running shoes, I feel the impact and have more knee strains and possible calf injury.
I love the Freedom 2000. Tell all the ¡°40-somethings¡± that this shoe gives their lives back. Without a doubt, one of the best products I have ever purchased. The Z-CoiL¢ç shoes give you your life back! Sorry for the long message, but I can't say enough about your product!
Update June 28, 2005: I ran the Rock-N-Roll marathon in San Diego on June 5th. My goal was to finish in under four hours. I sustained a minor ankle injury at mile four due to certain race conditions. With concentration and the help of my Z-CoiL¢ç shoes, I was able to finish in four hours and twenty minutes. I will continue to use Z-CoiL¢ç shoes for 50% of my training. It is an excellent shoe for training the ¡°heel/toe-heel/toe¡± method.

I am writing to express my delight with my Sidewinder sandals. It is such a joy to be able to stand for long periods of time and to walk effortlessly as long as I please without pain or fatigue. I also find that at age 73, hip and back discomfort has lessened due, I believe, to the improvement in my posture. I am more erect and in general have MORE BOUNCE TO THE OUNCE!
The customer service at Total Relief Footwear in Austin is outstanding, and I am very impressed with the expertise and professionalism with which my clogs were fitted to accommodate my particular problem, i.e., hammertoes and a bunion.
I am an ardent fan of Z-CoiL shoes. They certainly work for me.

I have bunions and I¡¯m saving up for surgery. Before I bought a pair of Z-CoiL¢ç shoes, just going to do some grocery shopping made me limp badly, and I was in so much pain. But after I bought my Z-CoiL¢ç shoes, I have no more pain! I can walk anywhere for as long as I¡¯d like. Thank you!

I got my first pair of Z-CoiL¢ç shoes in February of 2004. (I now own four pairs and am awaiting my tan sandals.) At the time, I had a huge bunion on my left foot that was extremely painful. Within two days, my foot felt much better and after wearing the shoes for the past year and a half, not only do I have no pain in that foot, but the bunion has diminished significantly!
My husband was born with club feet and has pretty severe arthritis in his feet. He had been spending hundreds of dollars and many hours at the podiatrist¡¯s office receiving treatments and medication to alleviate his pain. His orthotics cost about $400! He walks the concrete streets of NYC daily as a freelance computer technician. On weekends, he was a virtual invalid.
Since he has gotten his Z-CoiL¢ç shoes, he is totally pain- and medication-free! It is a joy to have a healthy, non-invalid husband back on the weekends, not to mention the hundreds of dollars saved in doctor and medication bills!
I am an avid softball player! I am 50 years old. I have worn my Z-CoiL¢ç shoes to play softball the past two seasons and had no injuries! I had many injuries in the past, but I am convinced that the shock absorbing aspects of the shoes take the impact and give me more flexibility. This year I am actually playing on two teams, the 50 and above team as well as my regular team.
We are huge fans of Z-CoiL¢ç shoes and you will not find a more knowledgeable and caring person to help you with the shoes than David Coyle. He is an honest person who genuinely cares about his customers!
Another aspect of the Z-CoiL¢ç shoes is that they are a great way to meet people. Everyone is always interested in knowing about them. I say to anyone who is considering them, ¡°Give them a try! The only thing you have to lose is your pain!¡±
All the best to Z-CoiL Footwear and thanks for a great product!
