I found Z-CoiL® shoes three years ago. I was a 35-year-old mother of three with plantar fasciitis. I was in so much pain that I would have to use the electric cart at the store. These shoes have become my lifesaver. I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for over a year. I'd sit down and take off my shoes in the evening, but couldn't get back up to walk without being in a great deal of pain—burning, stinging sensations in both my feet. I work in the medical field and am on my feet for up to 16 hours a day. I had tried expensive orthotics and was even put in a walking boot, but nothing helped.
I first saw some nurses at work wearing them and then while in Gatlinburg, TN, I saw them in a window and went and tried a pair on. WOW!!! What a difference. I've been wearing them ever since. My husband likes to make fun of them, so I bought him a pair. He suffers from low back pain and knee pain. He would have a lot of pain while walking or standing for extended periods of time. Since he's worn these shoes he complains less about his back and knees hurting when we go out shopping together. He says he can really feel a difference. He still makes fun of the shoes, but they do grow on you. I recently had a teenager tell me they were cool.
I have been an ambassador for these shoes. Several doctors and nurses have asked me about them and I tell them about your website. Thanks for inventing something that really works.

I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for almost a year. The last few months have been unbearable. I have spent hundreds of dollars on new shoes, orthotics, physical therapy, etc. NOTHING HAS RELIEVED MY PAIN, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF YOUR SHOES. I just purchased your dress boot last evening and since wearing them, have had NO HEEL PAIN!!!!!
Your shoes were recommended to me by nurses at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN, where my husband was a patient. Best money I have ever spent!!!!! I am learning how to walk all over again, as when you have been in pain continuously for this long a period of time, you are very apprehensive in your walking for fear of EXCRUCIATING PAIN!!!! I HAVE NOT STOPPED TALKING ABOUT YOUR SHOES!
My step-daughter from Denver, CO, is coming for the Thanksgiving holiday. She is a UPS delivery person who is also suffering from heel pain and knee crunching. We are going to take her to your Edina, MN, store and hopefully buy her a pair of your hiking boots! I am confident she will experience the same results I have. I also have knee problems and have been told these shoes should alleviate those problems, also . . .

As a result of a ruptured disc in my lower back, I have some lasting nerve and muscle damage. I now suffer with a disability known as “dropped foot” or “foot drop.” I cannot lift my left foot at all, must concentrate on every single step I take, walk with a limp, and sometimes stagger. My whole left side takes an extra jolt every time I put my left foot down when I’m walking. Chronic pain becomes a constant companion. To avoid pain, I walk as little as possible.
I would buy good running shoes with thick cushioning in the heel. The shoes would last two months, at the most, before the cushioning in the left shoe was mashed down from the pounding. I also tried every gel and cushion insole available.
I decided to try Z-CoiL® shoes. I took a pair home and wore them for four hours that evening. I was torn between crying for joy and shouting from the rooftops because of the difference these shoes made for me in every step I took. Usually it was pain that kept me tossing and turning through the night, but this night it was excitement over my new shoes. I was NOT in pain and I truly felt like I had been given a new lease on life. I decided that I would buy more styles of Z-CoiL® shoes and I would live in them.
Z-CoiL® shoes both increase my stability and significantly reduce the impact of stepping down. I can now walk down stair steps without holding on to both banisters! The limp is barely perceptible and I walk with FAR less pain and with more balance, including on uneven surfaces like gravel. I can walk faster and be on my feet longer. I do not have to concentrate on every step now.
I wear no other type of shoe. Z-CoiL® shoes are on my feet from the time I get up until the time I go to bed. I recently wore other shoes and I felt hobbled, limping and shuffling. I felt like a cripple again, struggling with every step. I had actually forgotten just how disabled I am when I’m not wearing Z-CoiL® shoes.
Based on my own experience, I can highly recommend Z-CoiL® shoes to anyone with dropped foot. I would be very surprised if the shoes didn’t make a significant difference in the quality of their health and life.

My fiancée and I were on a trip recently in Scottsdale, Arizona, and came across a Z-CoiL® shoe store. We laughed out loud and went in to inquire about what we saw on the shelf. After the owner explained the footwear and allowed us to try them on, we went, “Wow!!” We both ended up buying the shoes: one pair of black work boots and the hiker style.
I wore them to work, as I work for a major aircraft manufacturing plant, and fell in love with these shoes. No more leg pain, as I walk quite a bit on cement floors. Before I got my Z-CoiL® shoes, the first thing I wanted to do after work was to kick off my shoes in the car on the way home. After wearing the Z-CoiL® shoes, I actually have enough energy to get on the treadmill when I arrive home.
Also, we recently opened a new ergonomics enter at my place of employment. I was so happy about how I felt wearing the Z-CoiL® shoes that I went into the ergonomics center and showed them these Z-CoiL® shoes. I am also considering selling the shoes, I am so happy with them. I’ve had several employees inquire about them and a few that bought them already. Of course, being in a manufacturing plant, we would only be able to use the solid heel work boot for safety reasons.
