Three years ago a friend insisted that I try on a pair of Z-CoiL® shoes. I didn't want to try on the shoe. I had just purchased a $70 pair of my favorite shoes and I could not see myself buying a pair of shoes that were more than twice that amount.
To appease her, I tried the shoes on and walked around the room. I was sold.
For years my feet had hurt. My knees have no cartilage left in them and were a source of severe pain. Also, my back and hips were always giving me pain. That was three years ago.
Since that time, I have had these shoes on my feet from that very minute and I wear nothing else. I wear them to church and I wear them camping. It matters not [what I am doing]; they will not ever leave my feet. They are the first thing I put on each day and the last thing I take off each night. I don't take a step without them. It has postponed the surgery I have needed on my knees and given me new life that I wouldn't have had without them.

I bought my first pair of Z-CoiL® shoes about 3½ years ago. I walked into the store after a 16-hour work day. My feet and back were throbbing. After putting on the shoes and walking around for about five minutes, I felt much better.
Not knowing whether or not to invest in them at that time, I thanked the store owner, put on my old shoes, and walked out of the store. I had not even made it to the parking lot before I felt my back and feet start to throb again.
I could not believe how much the Z-CoiL® shoes had improved my pain even after a 16-hour shift! I immediately walked right back into the store and bought a pair.
I wore that pair of Z-CoiL® shoes daily for over two years and they were still in great shape! I did decide that I needed a little more variety, so six months ago I bought three more pairs! I love my Z-CoiL® shoes and would not give them up for anything!

My wife Kathy and I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis (RA). My wife has degenerative disc disorder and a fusion from a broken back caused by a car accident. She is currently disabled and has been in the care of a pain management doctor for many years.
I have had increasing problems with RA over the past ten years or so, often requiring the use of a cane or simply staying home. My attacks have generally lasted at least a week.
During the course of my wife’s fusion, physical therapy, and subsequent visits to the surgeon and pain management doctors over the past two years, we noticed many nurses wearing very odd footwear. We discussed the footwear with a couple of nurses who extolled the benefits of having springs on their feet and these ladies and gentlemen were convinced that they would have been forced to give up their profession were it not for these comfortable shoes.
I purchased a pair of Z-CoiL® shoes in early January 2005. Now that I am used to Z-CoiL® shoes, all other shoes hurt. I have had only two minor RA attacks (less than one day) this winter and spring--I can only attribute this to the Z-CoiL® shoes and the cushion that they add to every step.
As an engineer, I can appreciate that springs behave in a unique manner of physics known as Hooke’s law: the force exerted is a linear function of extension or compression. In other words, the spring slows your step down with a slow, constant force, rather than an abrupt stop. Other types of cushion are of little use at the start of the step and then are abrupt at the end, soft then hard. The Z-CoiL® spring is constant and prevents the body from being jarred abruptly.
My wife also uses your product, as does my mother-in-law, and I am encouraging my father to seek out and use this product. One result we’ve had is that both my wife and I can now stand in line at the grocery store, something we could not tolerate before due to pain. Now I can stand in line and I am not in pain at all.
I am impressed with your product. The benefits have exceeded my expectations by far, and the improvement in our quality of life has been outstanding. Thank you.

My husband and I have had complete relief from our back pain and other problems. My husband was branding the other day in his Z-Coil® shoes and he looked at me and said, "I wasn't able to do this the last few years, but now with my Z-CoiL® shoes I can work again." He says he feels 20 again and he acts like it, too.
I'm a retired teacher with foot problems and I can walk again. I am so thankful to Rich Kranz in Billings, Montana, who sold the shoes to us. He has been a terrific, informative salesman who has gone beyond the call of duty to adjust and repair the shoes, and all with a smile on his face.

I am 63 years old and the Z-CoiL® shoes I have been wearing for 13 months have given me a chance to enjoy parts of life that had not been possible for several years.
Thirty-five years ago a ladder I was standing on while painting our home gave way on soft ground and the ladder and I fell to the ground with my ankle getting caught on the steps. My ankle broke in two places along with a break on my back leg bone. The ankle break was so severe that pins were used to hold it together. After about 30 years the cartilage was gone and the pain so severe I was using a cane and even crawling to get around in my home. Ultimately the doctor decided to fuse the ankle and another pin was inserted. This removed the pain, but with a fused ankle one is not able to walk up and down stairs like before. One has to take one step at a time like a child just beginning to learn to walk stairs.
The fall also injured my back and has left me with a thinning disk between two vertebrae. For the past few years I would experience pain in my lower back after standing or walking for 15 minutes. My husband and I own and operate a summer food concession business and need to be on our feet for hours, and it became very difficult. . . . When grocery shopping needed to be done, my husband had to do it for me. We seriously considered buying an electric cart for me to get around with.
Then in March of 2004 I saw a woman wearing these strange-looking shoes with a coil heel. I asked her about them and she told me how they had changed her life. I was ready to try anything. So we found a store and I bought a pair of sandals and a pair of walking shoes. I immediately put on a pair. We were in Corpus Christi at the time and the aircraft carrier The SS Lexington was docked there and open for tours. The ship is a few stories high with narrow, steep steps. I couldn’t believe it, and neither could my husband, but I toured the whole ship. He asked if I didn’t want to sit down, knowing normally I would, but I was having no problem with my lower back or my ankle.
I continued to wear the Z-CoiL® shoes all summer while working, and was so pleased with the results. I began to do the grocery shopping and was thoroughly enjoying it. Christmas shopping in the past meant shopping about 30 minutes at the most. At Christmas 2004, I actually shopped for six hours at a time, walking on those hard mall floors. I had such a good time.
My son had moved to NYC and in September 2004 we went to visit him. He warned me of all the walking that would be necessary. It was much more than I imagined, but for three days I walked the streets of NYC and up and down the steps to the subway train and had no pain.
This winter we took a bus tour into Mexico and there were many times we walked on guided tours. I told my husband, “I couldn’t have done this without my Z-CoiL® shoes.” My chiropractic doctor examined my shoes and said it was the best shock absorber I could wear for my lower back situation. Because of my positive experience, several other acquaintances have purchased Z-CoiL® shoes and have also had positive experiences.
