Couldn¡¯t find my size here in Orange County, California, so I drove to Aubry¡¯s Therapeutic Footwear in Torrance on our great California freeways. Everybody there was great. They spent time explaining the footwear and adjusting my sandal to my specs.
I had a total knee replacement on my left knee. My right knee also needs to be replaced and is getting more bowed out as time goes by and causes a lot of pain. After they put on the larger coil and made adjustments, I walked up and down the store and noticed immediate relief. I was looking straight ahead, not up and down as I usually did, maybe a little too fast to begin with, but it felt good to walk again without so much pain. I know things happen as we get older, but it¡¯s always nice to slow it down as much as we can.
I left my shoes on, jumped into my truck, drove back to Orange County with no problems driving. My next pair will be the Sidewinders for around the house and pool.

I have degenerative disc disease, bad knees and heel spurs. My sister and niece told me about Z-CoiL shoes about three years ago. In the fall of 2006 I bought a pair of Freedom 2000s for work (I am a RN). In the past I would wear out the support of a pair of cross-trainers with prescription insoles about every six months. After six months, my feet would start to lay over, causing knee and back pain.
Since I stated wearing my Z-CoiL shoes, I don't have the foot, heel, knee and back pain I had before. It is wonderful. I plan to go back and buy a pair of the sandals and the dressier uppers for church and everyday once I have the money.

I've been wearing Z-CoiL shoes for about four years now. I'm severely overweight. Had to have knee replacement surgery 5-1/2 years ago. I teach ceramics and one of my students had a pair on. She was always complaining of foot and back pain, and she said they were great. So, after much debating and saving the money, I made the venture to the store in Elmhurst. Very nice people, very helpful.
I got my first pair of black shoes and never took them off but to sleep. They were wonderful. I was constantly on Advil, Aleve, and vivdin (sic) now and then. Now, very rarely do I take anything but Advil or Aleve. The shoes work. It took a little time getting my balance, but I now have three pairs and am saving for more.
Everyone at work always laughs at my Tigger shoes, but I laugh back when they say their back or feet hurt, because mine don't. I'm sorry people are just too vain about shoes. Oh, maybe the tennis shoes are okay, but they¡¯re not crazy about the other styles. I really don't care, because I do have more energy and am able to do more things now.
I went to buy another pair of shoes last year and the Elmhurst store had closed. I immediately came home and got on the Internet to find another store or vendor and I found a doctor¡¯s office in Orlando Park that sells the shoes. I wish we could buy them direct from Z-CoiL, or even just the springs. I've replaced them on my shoes. The shoes last a long time, very durable and well made.
I do wish that maybe a different dressier style was available, but heck, like the family says, Aunt Laura, do you have your Tigger shoes on? My answer is, I just do a little bounce and they all laugh. People are just afraid of change. Me too, but I love my Z-CoiL shoes and I tell everyone that asks. I have had people, complete strangers, come up and ask me, what kind of shoes are you wearing, and I tell them. And they ask, do they work, and my first word is, most definitely; only shoes I wear.
I did meet a women at the Elmhurst store. She was there buying her 13th pair. She was a nurse and said she puts them on before she gets out of bed, her feet and legs were so bad. I was buying my second pair and was very happy that I only needed that many.
Well, I've taken enough of your time. Thanks for Z-CoiL shoes. Keep making them. I love them. They¡¯re good for aches and pains, for sure, and very comfortable. Also forgot to say that I've never got a blister from these shoes, so thanks again for making the shoes.

Congratulations on opening your Z-CoiL store! I admit I was skeptical about the crazy looking shoes, but you can now count me as a HUGE fan of Z-CoiL!
I have knee problems, severe plantar fasciitis and arthritis in my knees and feet. All of these issues often make wearing any shoes for extended periods of time extremely uncomfortable. Consequently, I am in a lot of pain and lose sleep because of my aching feet and knees. I had even started to limit activity that involved a lot of walking, which isn¡¯t fun when you have young children and love to go to amusement parks, hike, play sports, attend concerts, etc. Those activities won¡¯t be a problem this summer!
I have spent hundreds of dollars on shoes, orthotics, doctors¡¯ visits and nothing seemed to be helping in the long run. I had nothing to lose in trying Z-CoiL.
The time you spent working with me in getting the fit just right, which isn¡¯t easy with my wide, painful feet, was impressive, to say the least. Still skeptical and with literally a spring in my step, I left the store. I wore the shoes from 11am until about 10pm that evening – something I could not have done in my $200 shoes I wore until Z-CoiL!
I recently went on a field trip to the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. with my son¡¯s first grade class. We walked the entire zoo several times, something I could not have done in any other pair of shoes I own.
I wear my shoes daily, and they are a constant source of conversation. There are a lot of folks out there with sore feet!
I am truly amazed at the lack of pain in my feet and in my knees and I am blissfully unaware of them now as I go about my daily activities. I plan on treating myself to a pair of Z-CoiL sandals soon!
THANK YOU! Best wishes for much success and CHEERS for happy feet!

I have enjoyed running for most of my life, but a few years ago I started experiencing knee pain after running only a mile or two. My wife convinced me to go to a Z-CoiL store and try a pair on. The minute I put them on, I was sold. Now my knees feel better after a 10-mile run in Z-CoiL shoes than they did before I started.
