In 1988, I suffered from what can only be described as an unusual, boring and freakish accident that resulted in my tearing Lumbar discs L2-L5. After three unsuccessful, painful operations, I was left in constant, severe pain and nearly immobile. I cannot sit, stand or walk for very long, so life was looking pretty grim for a while. My mom kept bugging me about trying Z-CoiL¢ç shoes, but I didn¡¯t think they would help because I had tried everything I heard about, including rubbing dirt from some sacred church near Taos, NM.

I finally tried them on, and after literally three steps, I knew I would never wear another pair of shoes. I haven't, even though this was right after I had finally gotten a pair of boots I had been saving for for a long time. I wore them once. They sit, unloved, in my closet, because no other shoe allows me the same comfort and ability to move about somewhat freely as Z-CoiL¢ç shoes do. I cannot thank you enough for these shoes. Eight hours a day on cement floors, 350 lbs. I would come home at night with my feet, legs and back hurting badly, I would sit down to rest and when I would get up I could hardly move.

Tremendous shock absorption ability reduces incidents of low back, sciatic, knee and foot pain in several of my patients. I am writing to express my delight with my Sidewinder sandals. It is such a joy to be able to stand for long periods of time and to walk effortlessly as long as I please without pain or fatigue. I also find that at age 73, hip and back discomfort has lessened due, I believe, to the improvement in my posture. I am more erect and in general have MORE BOUNCE TO THE OUNCE!

The customer service at Total Relief Footwear in Austin is outstanding, and I am very impressed with the expertise and professionalism with which my clogs were fitted to accommodate my particular problem, i.e., hammertoes and a bunion.

I am an ardent fan of Z-CoiL shoes. They certainly work for me.

Before I got my Z-CoiL shoes in 2002 or 2003, I was having a lot of pain with every step due to spurs on my spine, a disc challenge, as well as tendon fasciitis. Another Travel RN (I have returned to school for a PhD in Psychology) told me about them and how much they helped her. I finally went to the Scottsdale Z-CoiL store, was fitted very well, took about 10 steps in them, and my pain was gone! I talk about them every chance I get. Especially rewarding also was when my RN friend, who had foot surgery that went badly, tried a pair on in Albuquerque and walked over the bridge in the back of the store. She had been in excruciating pain with every step, and I wish you could have seen her face when she walked in them the first time. Her face was like she was on cloud nine; her pain was gone. I promised I would be buying her a pair very soon. She loves them and so do I. I wear them almost constantly. Thank you.
