I'm 22 and was born with a bone disease called Leg Perthese disease. I suffer with severe hip pain. When I was five years old, the head of my femur had deteriorated and I was put into leg casts for three months and forced to learn how to walk all over again.
Over time, the disease caused me to develop rheumatoid arthritis throughout my hips. I also developed early osteoporosis which put me in a wheelchair.
My mother came home from work one day and told me that a co-worker/friend had insisted that she take me down to get a pair of Z-CoiL® shoes. My mother’s friend told her that seven people on her shift also had Z-CoiL® shoes and they all swear by them. Every one of these employees has severe leg and back pain.
At first I was very hesitant due to the expense of the shoe. However, I went down to the nearest Z-CoiL® retailer and checked them out. When I put them on for the first time, I noticed a BIG difference right away.
I am now able to walk in comfort and no longer have to use my wheelchair or take pain medication. I can spend the time needed with my three children.
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH to whoever came up with the idea of the Z-CoiL® shoe. I am able to have a normal family life again!

I am a professional housekeeper and am on my feet a grueling 8 to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I suffer from fibromyalgia and arthritis. I was in so much pain that I was to the point of quitting the job I’ve had for 18 years.
I purchased the Mary Jane style Z-CoiL® shoes in February of this year (2005). I cannot make it through a long day on my feet without them. The benefit to my varicose veins is unbelievable. The burning pressure on the veins is gone. I couldn't sleep at night because my legs hurt. Not any more.

I am writing to share with everyone the pleasure and comfort I still receive wearing my Z-CoiL® shoes. There is nothing like them.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and, as a cancer survivor, my walking abilities were very limited. Wearing my other shoe types resulted in more pressure on my feet and legs and I would be sore and tired by the end of a walk to the mail box or around the block.
With Z-CoiL® shoes my legs do not tire and my feet are not sore. I walk lighter and swifter. My steps are more rhythmic!

My wife Kathy and I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis (RA). My wife has degenerative disc disorder and a fusion from a broken back caused by a car accident. She is currently disabled and has been in the care of a pain management doctor for many years.
I have had increasing problems with RA over the past ten years or so, often requiring the use of a cane or simply staying home. My attacks have generally lasted at least a week.
During the course of my wife’s fusion, physical therapy, and subsequent visits to the surgeon and pain management doctors over the past two years, we noticed many nurses wearing very odd footwear. We discussed the footwear with a couple of nurses who extolled the benefits of having springs on their feet and these ladies and gentlemen were convinced that they would have been forced to give up their profession were it not for these comfortable shoes.
I purchased a pair of Z-CoiL® shoes in early January 2005. Now that I am used to Z-CoiL® shoes, all other shoes hurt. I have had only two minor RA attacks (less than one day) this winter and spring--I can only attribute this to the Z-CoiL® shoes and the cushion that they add to every step.
As an engineer, I can appreciate that springs behave in a unique manner of physics known as Hooke’s law: the force exerted is a linear function of extension or compression. In other words, the spring slows your step down with a slow, constant force, rather than an abrupt stop. Other types of cushion are of little use at the start of the step and then are abrupt at the end, soft then hard. The Z-CoiL® spring is constant and prevents the body from being jarred abruptly.
My wife also uses your product, as does my mother-in-law, and I am encouraging my father to seek out and use this product. One result we’ve had is that both my wife and I can now stand in line at the grocery store, something we could not tolerate before due to pain. Now I can stand in line and I am not in pain at all.
I am impressed with your product. The benefits have exceeded my expectations by far, and the improvement in our quality of life has been outstanding. Thank you.

I got my first pair of Z-CoiL® shoes in February of 2004. (I now own four pairs and am awaiting my tan sandals.) At the time, I had a huge bunion on my left foot that was extremely painful. Within two days, my foot felt much better and after wearing the shoes for the past year and a half, not only do I have no pain in that foot, but the bunion has diminished significantly!
My husband was born with club feet and has pretty severe arthritis in his feet. He had been spending hundreds of dollars and many hours at the podiatrist’s office receiving treatments and medication to alleviate his pain. His orthotics cost about $400! He walks the concrete streets of NYC daily as a freelance computer technician. On weekends, he was a virtual invalid.
Since he has gotten his Z-CoiL® shoes, he is totally pain- and medication-free! It is a joy to have a healthy, non-invalid husband back on the weekends, not to mention the hundreds of dollars saved in doctor and medication bills!
I am an avid softball player! I am 50 years old. I have worn my Z-CoiL® shoes to play softball the past two seasons and had no injuries! I had many injuries in the past, but I am convinced that the shock absorbing aspects of the shoes take the impact and give me more flexibility. This year I am actually playing on two teams, the 50 and above team as well as my regular team.
We are huge fans of Z-CoiL® shoes and you will not find a more knowledgeable and caring person to help you with the shoes than David Coyle. He is an honest person who genuinely cares about his customers!
Another aspect of the Z-CoiL® shoes is that they are a great way to meet people. Everyone is always interested in knowing about them. I say to anyone who is considering them, “Give them a try! The only thing you have to lose is your pain!”
