I bought Z-CoiL shoes because my husband had great success with pain relief for his knees when running. He is a chiropractor and had tried everything chiropractic and many orthotics with no relief.
However, I was just looking for a comfortable shoe and to my knowledge had no problems to resolve. To my surprise, my end-of-the-day leg fatigue (I am carrying some extra pounds) disappeared. Plus, carrying heavy, bulky packages became less stressful and standing on hard tile floors was no longer stressful.
We are still pleased with our shoes almost four years later.

I suffer from lower back pain due to bulging discs and a condition called spondlyolythesis. I had just graduated from nursing school and started working on an orthopedic floor working 12-hour shifts. I absolutely loved my job. However, my back started giving me problems and after only 4 hours of work I had to leave because I could no longer stand. I was out of work for 8 weeks and went through 2 epidural injections with some relief. I returned to work and was still suffering with pain. I heard about these shoes and said I would give them a try. After all, $215 was a lot cheaper than not working. Needless to say, when I wear these shoes to work I have no pain at all!!!! I have been wearing them for 7 months now, and have not had to leave work early due to pain.
A week ago I decided to wear regular shoes (Nike SHOX) to work just to see if was really the Z-CoiL shoes helping my pain. After just 9:30 in the morning my back was starting to hurt and I had to put my Z-CoiL shoes back on. That was it for me. I knew without a doubt that it was the shoes helping the pain.
The odd-looking shoes are also a great conversation-starter for the patients. I get to tell them what a great shoe this truly is if you suffer from various types of pain. Many of them purchased them for themselves. I absolutely LOVE them and you will NEVER see me at work without them. Thank you, Z-CoiL, for letting me continue to be a nurse!

I purchased my Z-Walkers in Phoenix, Arizona, in January 2004. I was a med-surg nurse pulling three 12-hour shifts at that time. It was almost immediate relief. I changed jobs one year ago, and now work four 9-hour shifts in a busy endoscopy center. I have both plantar fasciitis and dupuytrens disease. These shoes truly save me at work. I only wear them at work, though I plan to use them outside of work as soon as I purchase another pair. There isn't a store in Indiana, so I'll be traveling to Ohio to buy again. Not a day goes by that I don't get asked to explain my shoes. Only drawback is you have to feel them to believe them!

I would like to say that these shoes have changed my life. Very strong words, but the truth. I suffer from bulging discs in my lower back. Serious problems, but I have a young family and need to work. I'm on my feet 10 to 15 hours every day. Without the Z-CoiL® shoes, I was going to go on disability. I now own four pairs of Z-CoiL shoes. I will say they are expensive, but worth every red cent! I have never been more pleased with any purchase in my entire life as I have been with Z-CoiL. Z-CoiL® shoes have saved my life in terms of being productive in the workforce! I spend many hours on my feet in a youth treatment facility. Since finding Z-CoiL shoes, I can work my regular shift and still walk my required three miles when I get home. The pain I was experiencing in my back, legs and feet is completely gone, and I feel like a new woman! Thanks for a new lease on life!
